Live Trading
MarvelChart has multiple information services, such as historical data, real-time data, financial data, but it is not a broker, so it cannot receive orders. When MarvelChart is connected to other brokers in Live Trading mode, any purchase/sale orders entered via MarvelChart are sent to the connected broker.
Orders on MarvelChart symbols
When MarvelChart is started in Live Trading mode but charts or DOMs are used on a symbol from the MarvelChart datafeed, a red line is displayed to inform you that any orders created on that symbol will be managed by the MarvelChart Paper Trading system.
If you want to use the data provided by MarvelChart but send orders to the real market on a broker, use the Orders Routing feature.
Example of using MarvelChart started in Live Trading mode
MarvelChart is a very flexible application, therefore in Live Trading mode it is possible to have charts created on MarvelChart symbols 1 or on other external brokers 2. Next to the markers of numbers 1 and 2 you can read the names of the providers and/or brokers. However, the presence of the red line 3 always highlights to the user that that particular chart is marked as Paper Trading. In the example, two daily TimeFrame charts are visible, both on the Tesla stock, which have been placed side by side using the Docking functionality.
