Gann Fan

A Gann Fan is represented by a fan of lines oriented from left to right, and up or down, at fixed inclinations. The angles of the lines are: 7.5°, 15°, 18.75°, 26.25°, 45°, 63.75°, 71.25°, 75°, 82.5°. To add the Gann Fan to the chart, simply click on the position on the chart where you want to place it. After adding the Gann Fan to the chart, you can move it by clicking on the origin point of the lines to select it and then dragging it to the new position while holding down the left mouse button. The orientation of the lines up or down is determined by the position of the second control point of the Gann Fan positioned to the right of the origin point of the lines. To change the orientation of the Gann Fan, simply select and drag the second control point up or down.

• Appearance - Settings related to the drawing mode

  • Line Style - Line drawing style

  • Line Thickness - Thickness of the lines

  • Fan Opacity - Opacity of the channel enclosed between the lines

  • Fan Colors - Editable list of colors with which the Fan is drawn

• Control Points - Control points of the Fan

  • Point 1 - First control point of the Fan

    • X - Position relative to the X-axis, expressed as a bar number

    • Y - Position relative to the Y-axis

  • Point 2 - Second control point of the Fan

    • X - Position relative to the X-axis, expressed as a bar number

    • Y - Position relative to the Y-axis
