Alert Line

It represents a horizontal line that acts as a price trigger, drawn from the left edge to the right edge of the chart area. When the price crosses the line, a warning message will be generated. It is possible to set which crossing direction to use for the generation of the trigger, for example if the price crosses it upwards or downwards, or in both directions. The direction of the trigger is displayed by colored triangles 1 next to the price value of the line. To add the line to the chart, simply click on the position on the chart where you want to place it. After adding the line to the graph, you can move it by clicking on the line itself to select it and then dragging it to the new position by holding down the left mouse button.

• Alert - Alert related settings

  • Enabled - Activates/Deactivates the Alert

  • Crossing Direction - Direction of the price crossing the Alert line to generate the message

  • Sound File - Sound to play when the message is generated

• Appearance - Drawing mode settings

  • Color - Color of the line

  • Line Style - Line drawing style

  • Line Thickness - Thickness of the line

  • Font - Font used to draw the text associated with the line

  • Text Alignment - Alignment of the text associated with the line with respect to the line itself

• Line - Settings related to the line drawn on the Chart

  • X-Axis Position - Position of the line with respect to the X-axis, expressed in bar number
