Thrusting Pattern
A Thrusting Pattern is formed when a long black (falling) candle is followed by a white (rising) candle. The white candle closes above the close of the black candle, but not above the midpoint of the black candle's body.
Thrusting Patterns are generally considered a bearish continuation pattern. However, evidence suggests that they can also signal a bullish reversal. For this reason, it is best to use the Thrusting Pattern in combination with other trading signals.
