Kicking by longer Marubozu
The Kicking Up pattern (also called Bullish Kicking) consists of two Marubozu candles that appear as long lines. The first candle of the pattern is a Black Marubozu, the second line is a White Marubozu. The open of the second line is higher than the previous open, which forms a price gap.
The pattern can be a reversal or continuation pattern. The direction of the trend is determined by the color of the candle with the larger body between the two that make up the pattern.
The pattern is extremely rare, especially in liquid markets. It can be seen more as an exoticism than as a seriously traded pattern.
